Distinct offerings for distinct needs

Two platforms built on the same sorption process, sized for different jobs: Prime for industrial-scale water, and Core for industrial dehumidification.

AirJoule Prime: the flagship platform for industrial and mass water

Prime is designed to produce up to 2,000 liters of pure distilled water per day at under 200 watt-hours per liter when paired with low-grade waste heat. Sixteen sorbent chambers are housed in a 20-foot containerized unit with a standard hot-water connection and electrical supply, and units are configured modularly to meet larger water needs. Prime is designed to achieve best-in-class capital cost per liter produced and to leverage external waste heat from the customer’s process or from heat recovery.

OutputUp to 2,000 L/day
EnergyUnder 200 Wh/L with low-grade waste heat
Form factor20-foot container
InputsAmbient air, low-grade hot water, electrical supply
OutputsPure distilled water, dry air
ApplicationsData centers, industrial process water, water resiliency, utility-scale water

Status: the first full-scale Prime was commissioned at Newark, Delaware in May 2026 and has operated outdoors since. Performance is progressing toward the published specification. The first system has shipped to Europe for a data center deployment in the fourth quarter of 2026, and additional units are under construction at Newark as customer showcase systems.

Core DH: industrial dehumidification with a water co-product

Core DH is the dehumidification configuration of the Core platform, built for dry storage and cold storage facilities that hold 30 to 50 percent relative humidity. Lower-temperature regeneration combined with adsorption-heat recovery delivers up to about 40 percent energy savings versus conventional desiccant wheels. Installation is simpler: no gas piping, no burner, no reactivation exhaust duct, no post-cooling coil. And the water it removes from the air leaves as distilled water rather than as a drain line.

Status: deployments to strategic customers began in the third quarter of 2026.

Target range30 to 50 percent RH
EnergyUp to about 40 percent savings versus desiccant wheels
InstallationNo gas, burner, exhaust duct or post-cooling coil
Co-productDistilled water
ApplicationsDry storage, cold storage, anti-corrosion environments

From pilot to fleet

Every deployment starts with a needs assessment against the customer’s performance, reliability and scale requirements, moves through a proof-of-value deployment on site, and then to a commercial structure: system sale, lease or Water Purchase Agreement. Systems are built at our Newark, Delaware facility, and both platforms are in a design-for-manufacturing program covering cost reduction, reliability testing and certification, with a component reliability program running accelerated duty cycles on every major component.
