AIR IN.
WATER OUT.
The Technology Advantage
Conventional dehumidification systems are reliant on a vapor compression and refrigerant system from the early 1900s. In over a century, there have been few technological breakthroughs to disrupt this sector…until now.
Unlike conventional systems, AirJoule works in both humid and arid environments.
- Air is drawn through sorbent-coated contactors and water vapor is captured.
- Once sorbent is saturated, chamber doors close and vacuum is applied.
- Under vacuum, water vapor is released
- Water vapor is condensed into pure, liquid water
- Dry air exhausted from the system
